The high-efficiency filter plenum is a key component that affects the air filtration effect in the clean room air conditioning system. Its design directly affects the performance and service life of the filtration system. The following are several points that engineers pay more attention to when designing such products:
1. Structural design
1. Size matching: The size of the plenum should match the specifications of the high-efficiency filter to ensure that the filter can be installed firmly and sealed well.
2. Uniform airflow: A guide plate or flow equalization device should be designed inside the plenum to ensure that the airflow passes through the filter evenly and avoid excessive or low local wind speed.
3. Sealing: The connection between the plenum and the filter and the air duct must be strictly sealed to prevent air from escaping from gaps with low resistance and unfiltered air from leaking.
4. Support strength: The plenum must have sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the pressure during system operation and avoid deformation or vibration.
5. Convenient maintenance: The replacement and maintenance of the filter should be considered during design, and an easy-to-open maintenance door or removable panel should be set.
2. Material selection
1. Corrosion resistance: The material of the static pressure box should be corrosion-resistant. Common materials include galvanized steel plate, stainless steel plate, aluminum alloy plate, etc.
2. Surface treatment: The inner surface should be smooth and flat to reduce dust accumulation. The outer surface can be sprayed or painted to increase beauty and corrosion resistance.
3. Other considerations
1. Air volume and wind speed: Determine the air volume and wind speed according to the requirements of the clean room to ensure that the filter operates at the rated air volume to avoid overload
2. Pressure difference monitoring: Set a pressure difference gauge to monitor the filter resistance. When the filter reaches the final resistance, a replacement prompt should be displayed to replace the blocked filter in time.
3. Insulation: If the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the static pressure box is large, insulation treatment is required to prevent condensation.
4. Noise control: Take noise reduction measures, install a muffler or use sound insulation materials to reduce operating noise.
4. Design optimization
1. Modular design: Modular design is adopted to facilitate installation, maintenance and expansion.
2. Energy-saving design: Choose relatively energy-saving fans and motors to reduce operating energy consumption.
The above are some factors that need to be considered when designing a static pressure box with a high-efficiency filter. The specific requirements can be combined with the customer's personalized requirements. After communication, we can make corresponding plans.
